Daddy/Daughter Date Night

A yearly highlight for Miss A is the annual Daddy/Daughter date night hosted by our local Cottonwood Parks and Rec department. Will took Avery last year, when she was two, and she talked about her date with Dad all year long. I think both Will and Avery were looking forward to their evening out with equal anticipation. Avery was polished and curled and both doned their best duds for this special event. Their evening included a fancy meal catered by the Manzanita Inn in Clarkdale, dessert, dancing, photos, and afterward, a trip to the vending machine where Avery got to pick out whatever she wanted. She picked out a "Rice-py Krispy Treat", and has been regaling it's exceptional culinary qualities ever since. I know that she will treasure her memories from her special evening for years to come.
