Trezise Family Vacation-Day 3

When we purchased our tickets, Sea World was running a special-purchase a ticket for a day, get a day free. How could we pass this up? So, we headed back for another day of fun. Right off the bat, I made everyone pose for that family shot I had missed the previous day. The landscaping at Sea World it top notch! This area was right in front of the entrance. One of the landscapers offered to take our picture in between his pruning duties.

We caught the dolphin show (twice),

Checked out the polar bear,

And caught the penguins.

We also (finally) let the kids loose in Elmo's Bay of Play. While Will and Landon were riding Atlantis (a roller coaster), I decided I could handle the three little ones by myself in the Bay of Play. Very. Bad. Idea. On the way, I had a long talk with Avery and Tristan about staying with me and not running off. Feeling confident they would stick with me, we headed in. Within two minutes, Avery ran one way and Tristan ran the other. I was stuck in the middle with Sawyer, trying to decide which kid I should run after. Somehow, I managed to capture them both, and we had another talk about staying with Mom and not running off. Sheesh. Will arrived shortly after all the excitement and helped me tag team our active brood for the rest of the morning.

Everyone had a blast, even Sawyer, who turned out to be the thugamapotomus of the baby area. For some inexplicable reason, he thought it was fun to crawl into other babies, head first, knocking them over and then laying on top of them. Good thing he's cute. ;)

We even got to meet Cookie Monster and Elmo.

After leaving Sea World, we ended our magical day with a walk on the beach. It was freezing, but the kids were mesmerized by the sound of the surf, the sand and sea shell hunting. Landon got a little too close to the water and a wave knocked him over, soaking him through. We had to cut our visit to the beach short to warm him up, but it was still a day full of special memories.
