Another Random Post

Sad times in the Trezise house. First, my camera died. RIP camera. Blogging without you is a sad prospect indeed. I will mourn your loss....until I get a replacement. But I am a little bitter, because I have missed several prime shots of the kiddos, and must I admit I have cussed (sorry) you for what I feel to be, your selfish, untimely demise. Then my vacuum bit the dust...literally, and choked. Today, Avery dumped out half a box of rainbow goldfish and proceeded to stomp them into colorful oblivion. (A picture would be therapeutic and funny...sigh....) So here I sit, staring at my goldfish-confetti riddled carpet, wishing that there was such thing as a Mommy Wish Fairy that would leave either a new camera, or a new vacuum (or better yet, BOTH) under my pillow because I have been a good Momma and haven't eaten any of my naughties today!

On anther note, Landon had several funny things to say today, and since I have no other blogging material, I will share. This morning, I got out of the shower and found Landon zoning in front of the TV. Huge surprise. I told him to go find something else to do, besides watching TV. Because he is Landon and requires a reason for everything, I informed him that "too much TV is not good for your brain". His immediate response...."Mom, I am watching NOGGIN, and it is like preschool on TV! My brain should be just fine." I did my best "Mom Skinny lips", counted to ten (twice), turned of the TV, and patiently suggested he color a picture for Dad. About 10 minutes later, he comes into the bedroom, carrying Avery's cabbage patch doll, which he has folded in half. "Look Mom, Avery's baby is a transformer! It transforms into a ball!" I love my little man, but I have to ask myself what I did to deserve all this....personality! There are days that I feel like I am losing my ever-loving mind!
I know my Mom is reading this, laughing. I have to tell her-this is your fault! You put the "Mom Curse" on me when I was little (....I hope you have a kid just like you when you grow up....). And it worked! I would suggest that you should have exercised extreme caution before tossing those words around, but I have said the same thing (a time or two) to each one of my kids. I can just imagine the feeling of justification I might have when I watch Landon with his own little know-it-all. So go ahead and laugh, Mom. I imagine you deserve it, and I apologize for the assumption that I ever knew it all.

uuummmm....you still think you know it all... you probably do, as Landon does... hence... he is your son...and the circle of life continues....

Oh Tara you are too funny!!! Sorry about the camera, vacuum & crackers (not funny), but the way you describe it all gave me a chuckle =)

Landon is sooooo cute and funny and smart--so at least he's got that going for him right?! =)
