Labor Day Weekend 2010

Welcome to a little piece of Heaven on Earth right here in Northern Arizona!

Christopher Creek Lodge in Christopher Creek, AZ was just the ticket for some much needed rest and relaxation. We took Uncle Shawn along with us, and met up with Uncle Preston, Aunt Heather, Aunt Erin, and cousins, Jaxon, Camdyn and Korbin. The weather was perfect, the company was wonderful, and the food was plentiful. The fishing left a bit to be desired, but no one cared. We just enjoyed casting our lines and making up tall, tall fish tales about the 'one that got away'.

The Baby Trifecta enjoyed a reunion, showing off new tricks, and reestablishing the pecking order.

Avery and Jaxon spent the weekend trying to decide if the were friends or enemies. A compromise was reached, and they settled on being frenemies.

Yes, that is a big, flat screen in the background, and yes, we brought it with us--along with the wii and the Xbox. This is 'camping' Trezise style.
We also brought along every essential baby care item imaginable.

The Bumbo, three pack and plays,

a Podee bottle (think bottle with a flexible straw--perfect for a busy lady like Miss Bossy C),

toys, sippies, boogie wipes, pacis,

an activity saucer,

and of course, a Johnny Jump Up!

The kids had so much fun playing non-stop, and the adults pretty much parked their bums in their respective camping chairs and spent three days recharging their batteries.

This was quite possibly the world's best Labor Day weekend getaway. We do not plan on being strangers to the Christopher Creek Lodge. In fact, another trip is already in the works!
