Today I mopped the floors. My boys love it when I mop the floors, because I make a fort for them out of a blanket and the kitchen chairs in the living room. They affectionately refer this creation as the "Man Cave", and it keeps them entertained, and most importantly, off the floors until they are dry.
I usually mop while Avery in napping, but she was having none of that today. She stubbornly refused to take a nap this morning. I thought that she would probaby love the Man Cave and (stupidly) decided to go ahead and mop, despite her presence.
The Man Cave was errected, and the boys pulled out a bin full of toys and began to play happily. Avery headed right on in to check it out. Pleased, I started my chore.
Dumb idea. Girls do not appreciate the sanctity of the Man Cave. Once Avery realized that the boys were just playing cars under the blanket, she crawled out and dimantled their haven. Indignant cries were heard. "Hey, Don't wreck the Man Cave!" I walked into the living room to find this...
Sadly, being just thirteen months old, and being a female makes it impossible to appreciate the awesomeness that is the Man Cave. Perhaps if we being to call it a "Lady Cave" she will not feel inclined to level it?
Perhaps not.

Poor, poor picked on Miss A! I often think the man cave in this house should be leveled also, mostly cuz its filthy! How bout my girls give Mistress A a new sister or cousin of the female variety and then we will make a ladies cave? I betcha it would be clean, at least....
Haha... This cracks me up!! It's totally something that Miss A would do!! She's such a sassy lady!! Can't wait to see you guys on Thanksgiving!!
