We are very pleased to announce that Tristan used the Big Boy Potty for the very first time, all by himself today!!!
I must preface this post with the fact that potty training is one of my biggest nightmares. Although Landon did it practically on his own, with only one accident, I dread this milestone. I don't even attempt the task until my kids turn three. So today, when Tristan announced that he wanted to use the potty, I was ecstatic! We ran in, he asked for some privacy, and after a few anxious seconds of Mom peering through the door crack (unbeknownst to T-Bird), we had success!!! On went the big boy underware, and a photo was taken to commemorate the moment. He is so proud of himself. He has been walking around, looking at his Spiderman underware ever since.
For his efforts, he got one green M&M, and we are having a celebratory dinner at McDonald's, per his request. Landon has even gotten in on the excitement and keeps asking if Tristan has to use the potty again, telling me that he wants to "help train him". My thanks to Landon, I can use all the help I can get!
I realize that this may not go anywhere, and I am not going to force the issue-but it would be great to only have one in diapers! Here's to Tristan's continued success!!!

Thats my boy! Tara even took a moment to share T-birds success with a call to me at work today, all my co-workers thought I was crazy when I announced to them my pleasure at his accomplishment.
"T-BIRD PEED IN THE BIG BOY POTTY!" They smiled, and nodded, "Crazy old lady..." Yea, Tristan, you're so awesome!
Yay for my T-Bird!! He's a big boy!! Hopefully it works out... And he looks mighty fine in his spiderman underwear!! Hot diggity dog T-Bird!! You are a sexy lil man!!
That's AWESOME! He literally looks like he's grown a foot since I last saw him!
