Wedding Dress Shopping

My Mom is getting married! (Check out her wedding blog; I have a link on my sidebar.) She was needing a white dress, moral support, and honest opinions. Who better to offer that than your own daughters?! We sisters all heard shopping (sans kids-Thanks Will and Preston!) and came running. We had a great time! I thought it was even more fun than shopping for my own dress. Here are a few pictures of the shopping experience. Elmo (the groom) is under strict orders not to look at any blogs and peek at the dress.

This one looked great on her, but Mom thought she looked like a cake, dripping with frosting. We couldn't have her feeling like a pastry on her wedding day!

This was one finalist. We all liked the dress, but the middle seemed plain.

This is "The One"! Mom knew it as soon as she put it on, and it took our breath away when we saw it on her!

Here is the back of the dress.

And here we all are, posing with the approved gown. Isn't my Mom pretty!!!

I'm going to tell you like I told Heather, "Thank you so much for making my wedding day dress shopping sooo special for me." I have such awesome daughters, and I love you each sooo much. I am so proud to call you, my girls. Mom

I love the dress your mom picked out, she looks beautiful. The picture of the five of you together - I loved it. It's been a long time since I'd seen all of you together. Brings back memories. ((hugs))
