Yesterday was a huge day for Avery. First of all, she finally cut her first tooth. We were worried that she might be a gummer for the rest of her life at the rate she was going, but a tiny white nub has appeared on her lower gum. We tried to get photographic evidence for the blog, but she is extremly protective of her new chomp, and clamps her mouth shut like a vise everytime we try to peek.
And as if a new tooth weren't news enough for one day, she decided to try her hand at walking. She was cruising along the wall, and just let go to walk to me! She took three whole steps, all by herself! We are very proud! Moments like this make parenting so awesome!
