Awesome Weekend-Part 1, Friday Evening

Blogger either hates me, or maybe my super long post. So for the sake of my sanity, I am separating this weekend's events into three different posts.

Wells Fargo gave Will and I tickets to a Suns game on Friday night because his market was number one in the region (and his branch was number one in the market!!!). We got to sit in the Wells Fargo suite, and it was pretty awesome! I had never been to a live game, and it was way better in person than it is on TV! They had a catered meal that was pretty good, and free drinks. We hit the hard stuff, and treated ourselves to some fancy bottled water.

The highlight of the evening for me was at half time. A fan got to shoot for a chance to win money. If he shot from the free throw line and made it, he won $777, from the three point line-$7,777, and if he made it from half court, he won $77,777!!! He announced he was gonna try from half court. He walked over, looked up, swung the ball low between his legs, and shot it granny style. There was a low groan, because it looked like he was going to miss by a mile, but it swished in and he won! It was awesome!
The highlight of the game for everyone else was a "wardrobe malfunction" for one of the Sun's Dancers. Her top fell off in the middle of her routine, but she put her pom poms over her assets and finished the dance. They had her on the jumbo tron for all to see. I felt so bad for her, but it was all we heard about from everyone for the rest of the game.
The suns won. 133 to 113. I think. I may have enjoyed the game, but that does not make me a very good fan. The final score is still quite a trivial matter to me. My apologies to those who do give a dang.
An interesting side note. Shaq is HUGE in person!!! You can see him (sort of) in the picture above. He is number 32.
