On Saturday night, we went to see a production of Oklahoma! put on by a local theatre group. The play was long-a little over three hours, including the intermission. The boys did surprisingly well, and were only wiggly for the last 15 minutes or so. Avery spent most of the time jumping on the fold-up auditorium seat, which I had to hold down for her to keep her quiet. Will took her home after about 30 minutes, and the boys and I settled in. At one point, Landon tapped my arm. I looked at him, and he whispered, "Mom, I missed that part. Could you rewind it?" He thought we were watching the play on a giant TV screen! I explained that the actors were real people on a stage, singing and dancing. He looked skeptical.
A few minutes later, some of the actors entered the auditorium and were dancing in the aisles. We were sitting at the end of a row, and there were two cute girls right next to us. When they finished, Landon stepped into the aisle and studied where they had been dancing. He sat back down and said, "Mom, those were real people! So you can't rewind it!"

It is funny how they never believe their parents until they have proof! Brink asked me a question the other day and then didn't like my answer, so she said "I'm going to ask my teacher, she knows more than you!" Ouch!
Looks like you guys are doing good- and having some fun!! Kids are great and are always put smiles on my face- thanks for sharing.
Sometimes I wish we could rewind in real life Landon...I am there with you!
